Rumored to be released on December 2, the LG Eclypse smartphone has been delayed by Bell Canada for December 12. The reasons behind the carrier’s decision are still unclear, but it appears that the device will also be launched at Virgin Mobile.

According to the folks over at MobileSyrup, the LG Eclypse is priced by Bell Canada at $49.95 (37 EUR) on a three-year term, and $249.95 (185 EUR) outright.

Virgin Mobile is expected to offer the device for $49.99 (37 EUR) on SuperTab or $249.99 (185 EUR) off-contract.

Furthermore, the smartphone is powered by Android 2.3 Gingerbread operating system and comes with a full slide-out QWERTY keyboard.

It also features a 3.5-inch capacitive touchscreen display, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth support, as well as a 1 GHz single processor and microSD card slot for memory expansion (up to 32GB).
