Rightware recently released the one benchmark to rule all the others, Basemark OS II. The new benchmarking application allows users to compare scores from Android, Windows Phone and iOS devices.

The application was released on all three major platforms earlier this week and is available for free. The Android version has just received a small but important update which is meant to make it easier for users to browse its UI.

According to developers, the “menu structure has been unified across all platforms,” but rest assured that scores are still comparable to the older version. More importantly, the Powerboard responsiveness has been greatly improved.

You can now download Basemark OS II for Android 1.0.9 for free via Google Play Store. Keep in mind that the application should be fully compatible with most devices powered by Android 3.1 and up.
