BLU Products has just announced the immediate availability of two new affordable Android smartphones in the United States, the Studio 5.0 C HD and Studio C Mini.
They have been especially launched in the US to compete with the Moto G, so it will be interesting to see how well they fare against Motorola’s budget-friendly handset.
BLU Studio 5.0 C HD is now available for purchase via Amazon for only $150 (€112) outright. As the name suggests, the smartphone comes with a 5-inch HD (720p) capacitive touchscreen display.
According to BLU, the Studio 5.0 C HD is equipped with a 1.3GHz quad-core processor, 1GB of RAM, 4GB of internal memory and a microSD card slot for storage expansion (up to 32GB). It also packs an 8-megapixel rear-facing camera with autofocus and LED flash, as well as a secondary 2-megapixel camera.
Next in line, the Studio C Mini sports a smaller 4.7-inch display that support 480 x 800 pixels resolution. The phone is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core processor, which is complemented by 512MB of RAM and 4GB of storage.
It provides microSD card slot for memory expansion (up to 32GB) and dual cameras (5-megapixel main camera and VGA front-facing camera). BLU Studio C Mini is available for purchase at Amazon for $120 (€90).
Keep in mind that both BLU smartphones have been confirmed to ship with the Android 4.4 KitKat operating system out of the box.
