The smartphone will soon be available for only $250 (€185) outright

BLU Products has just announced another budget-friendly Android smartphone that will soon hit shelves in the US and Latin America for only $250 (€185) outright, the BLU LIFE PURE mini.

The smartphone will ship with Android 4.2 Jelly Bean operating system out of the box and a 1.5 GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6589T processor inside.

The smartphone has been confirmed to sport a 4.5-inch HD (720p) capacitive touchscreen display and an enhanced 8-megapixel rear-facing camera with autofocus, LED flash and full HD (1080p) video recording.

BLU LIFE PURE mini packs 1GB of RAM, PowerVR SGX544 graphics processing unit and 16GB of internal memory, but no microSD card slot for memory expansion.

Other highlights of the phone include: 2-megapixel front-facing camera, 3G, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity, as well as 3000 mAh non-removable battery.
