The new build arrives on devices with a revamped user interface for improved user experience, as well as with various bug fixes and improvements.
Furthermore, the application is capable of automatically detecting news sources for 73 countries (source: Google news), and allows users to add up to 4 events to their lock screen (besides the minimize option).
There are also a series of performance and usability improvements in news sources page. Only relevant sources are shown now, and users can easily change the order of the contents.
Moreover, the release notes unveil that contents on LiveTile are now shown dynamically according to the AwesomeLock configurations. The updated version of Awesome Lock for Windows Phone 8 is available in the Windows Phone Store.
