Android users who already own ICS-powered devices most likely know everything about “Apex Launcher,” the application developed by the folks at Android Does.

This is an Android 4.0+ Ice Cream Sandwich launcher, which can be fully customized. It has up to nine home screens that can be personalized with customizable icons, shortcuts and folders.

Keep in mind that adding widgets from the drawer is not possible unless Apex Launcher is installed as a system application, which requires root.

The latest version of “Apex Launcher” fixes a force close issue when loading drawer and an icon size bug on tablets.

There is also a new infinite scrolling option and a changelog in new version notification. Transition effects and animations have been improved as well, and a new cube transition has been added.

“Apex Launcher” 1.0.4 is now available as a free download via Google Play and it’s only compatible with devices running Android 4.0 and up.
