LG reportedly rolled out the Android 4.4 KitKat update for the G2 back in December, but the upgrade is only available in South Korea for some users.

Today, the folks over at Phonearena have just published a video received from a tipster, which demoes the latest Android 4.4 KitKat update running on the South Korean LG G2.

Unfortunately, there’s no telling when exactly the major update will hit other countries. LG is expected to introduce its next flagship smartphone, the G3, in late February at Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2014 trade fair.

We suspect that LG will start rolling out the KitKat upgrade for the G2 by the time the sequel arrives on the market, though the South Korean company is known for delaying major software updates for marketing reasons.
