It appears that Motorola is now rolling out the latest Android 4.4 KitKat update for DROID MAX and DROID ULTRA again. The update was deployed last month, but after numerous reports coming from users claiming that their devices were bricked after applying the upgrade, Motorola decided to pull it.

Today, the folks over at Droid-life claim that they have received many reports from DROID MAXX and DROID ULTRA users who are now receiving the upgrade once again.

According to these reports, the update pushed by Motorola features the same build number (19.5.3) as the previous faulty build. However, we expect the US-based handset maker to have addressed all the issues in the previous version of the update.

Those who are still waiting for the Android 4.4 KitKat update to arrive may want to start checking their smartphones by going to Settings / About phone / Software update.
