More Moto X users out there will soon get a taste of the Android 4.4.2 KitKat operating system, as Motorola has started to send out invitations for a soak test for the OS to Sprint’s customers today.

The platform upgrade has already been pushed to Moto X devices on T-Mobile’s network, and it will be released for all owners of the handset at Sprint too, it seems.

According to a recent post on droid-life, at least two members of the Motorola Feedback Network have received emails inviting them to participate in the soak test, which shows that the rollout is about to kick off.

The update will provide users with support for wireless printing, as well as with improved battery life, and with a fix for some issues with Microsoft Exchange syncing. Stay tuned for more on this.
