The Android 4.1 Jelly Bean platform upgrade is about to arrive on Nexus S handsets on the airwaves of Vodafone in Australia.
The wireless carrier has already announced plans to kick off the upgrade roll-out on that day, saying that it would arrive from Google and that it is scheduled for arrival starting with 1:00pm AEST, July 19, 2012.
On the same day, the wireless carrier plans on starting the delivery of new updates for others Android devices on its airwaves, including the Galaxy S and HTC Explorer
The former is set to get a taste of a 2.3.6 Value Pack update, while the latter will receive a 2.3.5 Maintenance Release.
On July 20th, Galaxy S II should receive an update of its own, the 4.0.3 Maintenance Release, Vodafone also says.
