One day after Google officially announced its next-generation Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system, the platform has been ported to HTC One X.

XDA Developers senior member tgascoigne managed to port the Jelly Bean ROM to the international version of HTC One X, though not everything works smoothly.

In fact, we do not recommend flashing this ROM until it gets more bug fixes. According to tgascoigne, the Jelly Bean ROM ported on the HTC One X is based on the ROMs of the two Nexus devices that were announced last week.

An Alpha build will be soon released with more working features, so keep an eye on the original thread. For the moment, it appears that the core system of the HTC One X works smoothly with little to no crashes.

However, Wi-Fi, radio, audio and camera still don’t work with this Jelly Bean ROM. Stay tuned for more updates on the matter.
