14 DAY TRIAL // Although yet unreleased, the Galaxy Nexus for Verizon is receiving software updates meant to resolve various issues that it had, and one of these updates reportedly arrives on devices as Android 4.1.
Nothing was officially confirmed on this, but some of those who have units for testing report on the new OS flavor being pushed to their phones with no changelog attached.
It arrives after the release of Android 4.0.2 for the device, and might signal completion of carrier testing and the near availability of the phone on shelves.
