Good news for HTC Flyer owners as the Taiwanese handset manufacturer has started to roll out the long-awaited Honeycomb update for the slate.

French site HTC-Hub reports that the update is now rolling out in France, but may be deployed in other European countries by the end of the year, possible in other regions as well.

According to the folks over at HTC-Hub, the update has 210MB in size and brings the firmware to version 3.55.405.1. It appears that the upgrade targets 32GB Wi-Fi and 3G version of the HTC Flyer and is delivered OTA (over the air).

Currently, there is no information regarding the Android 3.2 Honeycomb update for the 16GB Wi-Fi only HTC Flyer, but the handset maker will probably issue an official statement on its official Facebook account.
