Another Gingerbread leak for AT&T's Samsung Captivate has just been leaked in the wild and promises to bring the phone's software to the latest Android 2.3.5 version of the operating system.

Although Rogers has already deployed the Gingerbread upgrade for Samsung Captivate owners, it looks like AT&T is still struggling to roll out the software update.

Software build UCKJ1 leaked courtesy to the folks over at AndroidCentral, and confirms that AT&T plans to update its Galaxy S device after all.

No information about the exact release date of the major software update has been unveiled yet, but AT&T Samsung Captivate users should receive the upgrade by the end of the year.

Obviously, those who already rooted their Captivate devices should expect new customized ROMs based on the leaked build.
