A new flavor of Gingerbread is now rolling out on unlocked Samsung Galaxy S II devices, namely Android 2.3.5.

The operating system iteration was leaked for this handset only a few days ago, and is now officially available for the phone via the Samsung Kies application.

Pocketnow reports that the update comes with version number PDA:KI3 / PHONE:KI3 / CSC:KI3 (XEO). Basically, it appears to be the very same software as the one in the said leaked ROM.

Some of the changes packed with the new OS release would include a new TouchWiz interface, one that does not include the bouncing effect when scrolling to the end of a list.

As stated above, the new platform release is being pushed via the Kies software, available for download from Softpedia via this link.
