The smartphone features a price tag of $249.95 (€165), contract-free

Canadian mobile phone carrier Bell has added to its offering a new smartphone from Alcatel, namely the OneTouch Idol X, which is now available for purchase with a price tag of $249.95 (€165) attached to it, contract-free.

The handset can be seen listed on this page on the carrier’s website, with Black and Red color options available for users to choose from. Those interested in grabbing the device on contract will receive it for $0 upfront.

Alcatel OneTouch Idol X sports a 5-inch Full HD 1080p screen, a 1.5GHz quad-core processor inside, 2GB of RAM, and 8GB of internal memory, along with a microSD memory card slot.

The smartphone also features a 13-megapixel camera on the back, a 2MP front camera for video calling, LTE connectivity, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, and Android 4.2 Jelly Bean loaded on top.
