With a quad-core processor, 4.5-inch screen, 8MP camera

UK wireless carrier Three has confirmed plans to add the Acer Liquid E2 smartphone to its offering in the near future, announcing that the device will arrive on shelves with support for its Ultrafast network.

The handset was officially announced back in April, but Three UK has added it to its coming soon webpage only today, the carrier announced.

The mobile phone arrives on shelves with a 4.5-inch display, a quad-core processor packed inside, and with an 8-megapixel photo snapper on the back, with support for HD video recording and capable of shooting up to 100 pictures in rapid succession.

Running under Google’s Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean operating system, the handset is said to be capable of a fast and seamless experience on the go.
