It comes with Android 3.0.1 Honeycomb and 1 Ghz dual-core CPU

Information about the upcoming release of the Iconia Tab at Rogers leaked a few months ago, but no details regarding the tablet's exact release date emerged until recently.

According to the guys over at Technapedia, Acer's Iconia Tab A501 is expected to arrive at Rogers on November 8.

No details about the slate's price options yet, but Acer has already confirmed that it will deliver the Ice Cream Sandwich upgrade to all its Iconia Tab devices in early 2012.

Acer Iconia Tab 501 comes with HSDPA and HSUPA support, as well as Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n and Wi-Fi hotspot capability.

The slate is powered by Android 3.0.1 Honeycomb platform with Acer's proprietary user interface on top.

On the inside, the tablet is equipped with a 1 GHz dual-core NVIDIA Tegra 2 processor, 32GB of internal memory, 1GB of RAM and microSD card slot for memory expansion (up to 32GB).
