This is not the first time Samsung Rugby Smart gets pictured, but this is the first time it gets a name attached to it. Previously known as Samsung SGH-I847, the handset should have been launched on February 18 via AT&T.

However, for unknown reasons, the smartphone has been delayed and we don't have any details regarding its exact release date.

Additional info on the Samsung Rugby Smart is still scarce for the moment, but we know that this one will run Android 2.3.5 Gingerbread and will feature HSPA 3G support.

It will also have 512 MB of RAM and a rather high capacity 1650 mAh Li-Ion battery, which has yet to be rated by the manufacturer.

Rumor has it that the device will be available for no more than $100 USD with  a new two-year agreement.
