The Optimus G Pro was one of the many Android smartphones unveiled by LG back in February at the Mobile World Congress, in Barcelona, Spain.

The South Korean company plans to launch the LTE-enabled smartphone in many regions that offer 4G services and the United States is definitely among the targeted markets.

According to AndroidCentral, LG Optimus G Pro will be launched in the United States on May 10 via AT&T. However, this release date is subject to change, but if nothing bad happens, it should go live in early May.

AT&T Optimus G Pro will arrive with a huge 5.5-inch True Full HD IPS Plus capacitive touchscreen display and a powerful 1.7GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 processor.

The smartphone will ship with Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean operating system onboard and an impressive 13-megapixel rear-facing camera. Stay tuned for more updates on the matter.
