SAMSUNG TV & Remote is an application that gives users a basic remote control for Samsung devices and a tool to find the nearest store that has a particular TV model.
Samsung figured that it could combine two different type of apps into a single one, and this is how the SAMSUNG TV & Remote was born. With it, users will be able both to control their Samsung TV, but also to find where they can buy a new device. It might seem like a weird choice of functions, but this is how the application works.
The remote function is pretty straight forward, and it does exactly what it says. The only caveat is that this application requires a device with an infrared sensor. It won’t work with Wi-fi or Bluetooth.
