PhotoScan is a scanner app from Google that allows users to scan regular photos with the help of the camera.
Many of us want to back up our old paper photos, but it’s a long process that takes a lot of time, not to mention the fact that not everyone has a handy scanner around and ready for use. This is where PhotoScan comes into play.
The developers from Google figured out a way to properly use the camera on the phone as a regular scanner. You don’t need to worry about glare or any other issues. You just point the camera at the picture, follow the onscreen instruction, and you’re good to go.
The best part of this process is that the scanned images will be automatically uploaded to your cloud collection, so you never need to worry about the fact that you might lose them. Also, people have access to some filters and editing tools, if they need to make small corrections to the scanned images.
