Google VR Services is a vital component of the Android ecosystem and provides users with virtual reality functionality.
Google and Android already provide some limited support for virtual reality with the Daydream and Cardboard apps, but that couldn’t be possible without a special component that’s called Google VR Services.
This is not an app, but a system component that’s necessary for the official application mentioned above. With Google VR Services, users can receive notifications while in VR, pair Daydream-ready headsets and controllers with the Daydream-ready phone, and enter and exiting VR apps. In fact, none of the Daydream apps will work if the Google VR Services component is not present.
The good news is that the latest version of Android come with this package installed by default. If it’s not installed by default, then just install it yourself.
