Google Text-to-speech is an application that enables users to read what's the screen aloud, a feature which can prove to be useful in some scenarios.
The Google Text-to-speech component in Android can be used in a number ways. In fact, the application is not limited only to other Google packages, meaning that any app in the official store can make use of this feature.
Some of the applications that come with support for Google Text-to-speech include Google Play Books with its “Read Aloud” function, Google Translate that speaks the translations, Talkback, and many others.
It’s important to know that Google Text-to-speech is enabled by default in many Android phones, but it can also be enabled from the Settings.
