Calculator by Xiaomi app provides an alternative to the default Android calculator, with interesting features and options, overlay on top of other running apps, and various computation methods.
By default, the app opens the simplified version of the calculator, but tap the switch button in the lower-left corner of the app to change the view to scientific. This view includes sin functions, cos, tan, deg, PI calculation, and square root.
The next screen is the calculations window. It includes an age calculator, area and volume, BMI (Body Mass Index), transfer data calculator, date, discount, length, or mass.
Moreover, you can convert the temperature from Fahrenheit to Celsius, use the numeral system to transform decimal to binary, octal, or hexadecimal, and convert time units.
Remember that you can find a list with all the previous calculations in the History area, via the upper right corner menu.
To use the currency converter and transform EUR to USD or Hungarian Forint for example, head over to the next section of the app. There is a wide range of currencies to select from. In this section, the app also provides an investment calculator with interest rates and duration, an GST (Goods and Services Tax) calculator with percentage levels, and a loan calculator with interest rates and periods.
