BMW Connected Classic is a tool designed for people that have a BMW vehicle that was built after July 2013 and that want to expand the way they use their car.
It’s easy to think of a car as a standalone platform, but the truth is that you can get much more out of it if you’re using a dedicated application. Since new cars have support for various functions and options that can be initialized from a mobile device, it’s ease to see why there is a corresponding app.
Some of the functions available with BMW Connected Classic include Spotify and iHeartRadio support for the BMW 7 series (2015), Twitter integration, access to calendar allowing users to call people directly from the app, access to local Wikipedia articles, the latest news feed, and a regular audio player.
