Android Samba Client is a new tool from Google that allows users to connect easily to Samba clients.
One of the problems with Android is that it’s not all that easy to connect to the storage space since it uses a specialized file system. One of the methods is use Samba, and this is exactly what the Android Samba Client does. It lets people mount an SMB file share in their Downloads/Files app in Android.
This is a good way of accessing remote files seamlessly from their Android devices, opening, modifying, and deleting them. It’s important to mention that this is direct port of the Samba client, which means that it comes with support for all the features.
