Sunrise Sunset 4.2
This app could be really useful when you're going on vacation or if you're a photographer and need to snap the perfect picture of a sunset. The app is really sleek and it's definitely worth a try.
Stylish interface with plenty of features at hand
Sunrise Sunset sports a really nice UI that provides you with all the tools that you might need directly from the home screen. It doesn't use material design, but you wouldn't really need it since the whole purpose behind this app is to provide information that you can check out quickly and without too much fuss.
All sections of the app are arranged into tabs on the top of the screen, but you'll have to enable location services so that the app can determine the city where you're in. There's also the option to type in your location.
Get all sort of detailed information
It displays the exact hour when the sun rises and sets, together with the day and night length and the position of the sun during the current hour. It also displays nautical, astronomical, civil, official sunrise and sunset, making this app a must in many professions. The calendar feature lets you check the information on whichever day you wish.
The 3D view feature lets you check the information on a 3D compass, displaying the position of the sun and other detailed information. You can also check the sunrise and sunset on various plants including the Moon, Mercury, Venus and basically all planets in our Solar System.
More features
All sections of the app can be zoomed in using the tool on the bottom of the screen. The app doesn't really have a settings menu, only some detailed information on the developer.
Still, it comes with two widgets for your home screen, they display the exact hour when the sun rises and sets. Still, it would have been nice if widgets showed users the coordinates of your location and other information.
The app doesn't have banner ads but it does have some annoying popup video ads that you'll need to watch for a couple of seconds until you can skip. There's the option of removing ads if you pay 1.99$.
