Interface with a tutorial and instructions
Unlike other apps, this one opens with a tutorial presenting all the features it incorporates, together with built in tools and the types of formats it reads. The app can display EPUB, PDF formats as well as Adobe DRM encrypted eBooks, but you'll need to sign in to your Adobe account in order to do so.
But otherwise the app doesn't require any registration. The side menu offers quick access to the many areas of the app and the search icon on top makes it easy to find books that you're looking for.
Browse through various books and authors
The store offers a wide variety of books and titles to choose from. They're all divided by best sellers and trending volumes. There's also a section with recommended and fiction volumes, but there are no other categories to choose from.
All paid books come with samples, so you can get a feel of the book before you make a payment. Even if you're looking to download free books, the app doesn't ask you for credit card information, like Amazon or Google Books do. Also, All books in your library are arranged into shelves, making it easy to view your collection or download entire ones available in the app.
Read books from your library
Users have the option of opening ebooks from their device into the app. Change the page by swiping the screen and tap it to find settings. Bookmark a page by using the icon on the top, search for key words or switch to another chapter easily. There are shortcuts to the table of contents, notes and bookmarks.
Screen brightness can also be changed together with font style and size. You can choose from only two themes, light and dark, no yellowish one that would resemble pages of old books. Long press on text to highlight, make a note, share or search in the dictionary. The app doesn't come with a translator and it doesn't speak aloud text.
