Shake-it Alarm 3.3.5
Intuitive UI with some tools
It's always nice to see developers who have taken the time to create tutorials in order to explain new users how to find features and enable tools. Unfortunately, Shake-it Alarm doesn't come with instructions but you wouldn't really need them since the UI is quite intuitive.
It comes with material design, but it doesn't have a side menu with quick access to its features. An icon on the top right corner of the screen provides users with access to settings and changes that they can do to the UI and the app's functions. All alarms that you've saved are displayed on the home screen so you can access them faster.
Set multiple alarms on your phone
The app comes with some modes that you can choose from and it uses animation. You can shake your phone in order to disable an alarm, touch or shout. There's also a random icon, so you wouldn't know what to expect when the alarm sounds.
However, shouting is probably not a good idea in the morning, especially if you don't live alone as you might alarm your room mates. You can set the difficulty and have your phone ring and vibrate when it's time to wake up.
More features and tools
There's the option to change the music, but the app doesn't let you pick from too many suggestions and it opens your music gallery to choose tracks from there. Another feature lets you adjust the volume and send a message to someone in your phonebook.
It comes with a separate section that opens up the weather in your location. However, it would have been nice if it had an icon for accessing these features faster. It also has a section with news.
The idea behind the app is really clever, users can't turn the phone volume down after the alarm was set so their only option is to do what it says. But remember not to use the shout feature if you're living with room mates, as you might scare them in the morning.

Bottom Line
Design / UI9
The interface is really nice, with a beautiful and fluent layout but it would have been better if it make it easier to access sections. |
Function9
You can access features easier and check out the weather and news in the morning, after you disable the alarm. |
Security7
It needs some permissions to your phone, to some areas that aren't connected to its features. |
Battery7
Consumption is moderate, but you still keep your phone plugged in during the night so the battery wouldn't be drained. |
Price8
It comes with some banner ads but it doesn't have the option of removing them with an upgrade. |
Compatibility8
It should work on devices running Android version 2.3 or later, making the app available to many users. |
It's a really nice alarm clock app filled with all sort of nice features.
