SECRECY 0.5.3
Fortunately, there are many applications that could help you with just that, one of them is Secrecy. It's a nifty app, but you'll have to be a bit patient with it since it's only in alpha stage and it does need some more work.
Sleek interface with plenty of features at hand
From the moment you launch the app, you'll surely notice that the app is far from completed. There are many messages popping up on the screen, informing users that Secrecy app is only in its alpha stage and that it needs further development.
But that shouldn't discourage you from giving this app a shot since it has much to offer. Developers should take into consideration the addition of a tutorial, since it could prove some much needed support for new users. Still, the app has a very intuitive interface with a side menu that grants you access to all sort of features inside, including the vault.
Encrypt all sort of files
The first thing that you need to do is to create a vault in which you would place your files. Type in a name and a password, which you would have to remember. Users can also change the name of a vault whenever they wish, by long pressing the respective vault.
It would be nice if the app provided users with some ways in which they could recover passwords, like the option to provide an email address or receive some hints in case you forget it. Batch selection isn't available, although it would have made it much more easier to add files to your vault and keep them protected.
More features that you can use
Users can create as many vaults as they wish and add files which are later removed from your gallery. Access to vaults is granted only with the password. In addition, you can use the app to encrypt files using AES256 format.
The app comes with plenty of other settings that you can make. Users have the option to completely hide the app from the launcher, adjust the maximal image size or pick the vault location. Even the stealth mode in which the app is hidden from the launcher, is password protected.
