Nowadays, there's an app for everything, especially for utility items that people always need like calculators or notepads. So instead of using a pen and paper when going to the store, why not try myShopi.

It comes with the option of creating shopping lists and receiving discounts at local stores. Surely, you take your phone almost everywhere with you so there's no risk of forgetting the grocery list at home.

Sleek interface with plenty of features

The app opens with a screen urging users to choose from a list of countries so the app can download the appropriate version for it. It comes with a tutorial and some onscreen instructions.

There's a menu on the left with all the lists that you've created and an icon to the settings section. Still, it comes with the option of organizing lists by isles, hide categories or enter prices for items.

Create shopping lists easily

Simply tap on the plus icon to create a new shopping list. You'll need to choose from a list of stores, before you can start adding products to the list. The app features common items found in any grocery store together with comprehensive subcategories.

Tap on one to add it to your list or your favorites section, which helps you easily access products you often buy and consume, in order to save time. When at the store, simply tap on items that you've added to your cart in order to remove them from the list.

Scan barcodes and get promotions

You can give voice commands to the app, scan barcodes and add them to your list or the option to lock your screen to keep the shopping list active. There's also the option of sending lists via SMS/email, in case your significant other wishes to contribute to it.

One of the great things about this app is that it provides you with promotions and discounts to stores in your area, but the feature is only available for the Belgium version and until developers integrate other versions as well, users must get accustomed to only creating grocery lists with this otherwise neat app. Th app also works on smartwatches and it lets you add items to your lists.
