When it comes to the interface, simplicity is the main characteristic. The app was well designed to service users of all ages, however adjustments in font size would have been useful.
The menu is neatly displayed in the homescreen, making it easy to browse through symptoms, medication, procedures etc.In addition, members of select insurance providers have the ability to estimate costs for services.
Search for symptoms
The symptoms section allows you to tap on the part of the body that aches or search for symptoms manually. Based on the signs, the app opens the most common diseases that match the symptoms. There's detailed descriptions on the conditions, together with other early signs, tests that can be made for a diagnosis and medication.
Unlike other apps, iTriage comes with the most common medication for each disease, together with possible side effects, conditions treated by certain drugs, overdose instructions etc., basically everything you need to know when taking a new drug.
Browse through conditions and search for doctors and nearby facilities
iTriage is a musthave app for anybody, not just people suffering from certain diseases or caregivers. The app comes with a large gallery of conditions, together with symptoms and medication required.
So if you're feeling sick, the app can actually let you know if the condition is severe and you should see a doctor. iTriage uses your phone's location services to search for physicians and facilities near you.
The app requires online registration for creating a user profile and tracking your medication. However, the app could have used an additional pass code, considering that the information is extremely sensitive. Still, it comes with a lot of reliable medical information, as well as the latest news.
