Dated interface with only a few features
The app doesn't launch with any instructions, but you wouldn't really need them since it does have an intuitive but dated UI. The home screen is filled with links to other similar applications on Google Play Store, which is quite inconvenient since the user chose the app for its content and not for suggestions of other apps. It doesn't even have a side menu or any sort of sections, therefore users shouldn't expect to see material design when launching the app.
Apply all sort of wallpapers on your phone
Hipster Wallpapers has a limited number of pictures, you'll get to the end of the list after a couple of scrolls. It also lacks categories, so all wallpapers are just arranged in a list all together.
They're nice pictures, but almost all of them are in pink, purple and blue colors. The added filters and overlays are quite beautiful with star effects. Long press on one image to get some options.
You can share images on social networks or set them as wallpapers or contact photos. It doesn't let users crop pictures, but you wouldn't really have to since they only fit on one of your screens.
Some flaws
Aside from the fact that it has a limited number of wallpapers and no categories, the pictures are also lacking when it comes to image quality. It should at least provide users with high quality images that have a high resolution. But it fails when it comes to that also.
All in all, the app lacks all the basic features that any application should have and it has the smallest collection of wallpapers that we've ever seen. It's also filled with all sort of banner and popup ads, that could be quite annoying especially if you're looking for the perfect wallpaper.
Aside from that, it comes with lots of suggestions of other apps, that perhaps have fewer wallpapers than this one. In addition, there's no option of simply saving images to your phone.
