Free Birthday Cards 3.5
It's a nice application for keeping track of your friends' birthdays and finding the best cards to share with them. But don't expect too much from it, it has some really big flaws that may actually annoy you at times.
Sleek UI that takes forever to load
It's always nice to come across applications that have a tutorial and show users all the neat things that they can do with its features. Free Birthday Cards doesn't have that, but the UI is pretty straightforward and you shouldn't get confused on how to use the app.
The first thing that you need to do inside the app is to register with an account, but you can only use Facebook. It takes some time to import your contacts' birthdays, so you'll have to be patient with that. In addition, the app takes a while to load and at times it may even crash. Needless to say that it has some stability issues.
Add birthdays manually
We all have friends that don't have a Facebook account, so you'll have to input their birthdays manually. The app requires you to provide their names and the date when they were born.
Don't try to input the year, it won't work and it may cause the app to crash, so you might lose all information. It comes with a side menu and material design, the main screen displays birthdays and other holidays in a chronological order. Simply tap on a date to get suggestions of cards.
Send cards
It has lots of categories in which cards are arranged, simply swipe the screen left or right to access them. All cards are HD and quite unique, not to say that they're suitable for all sort of occasions.
However, if you send one as a text message the receiver won't be able to see it unless he/she installs the application. Posting on Facebook isn't flawless and after a couple of tries, you might be better off adding a picture from Google. The settings menu allows users to filter birthdays, add those of celebrities and adjust the reminder time. The language inside the app can also be changed.
