The app doesn't come with a tutorial to show new users how to access all its features and how to use the app to the fullest. Users must pick their location and language of choice, but there's no option of picking English as the default language regardless of the country you're in.
The app comes with a side menu that gives you access to all sort of sections inside the app, including to publications, favorites, bookmarks, the store locator and settings. The app lets you bookmark pages, find items using the search bar or favorite pages and items. You can also switch to grid view and see all pages arranged into thumbnails, to make it easier to navigate inside the app.

The app lets you place furniture items in your room simply by picking the product and using your fingers to place it. The feature is a bit buggy, but it does give you a solid good idea of how a certain product would look in your room. It also lets you locate stores near you or scan your catalog to discover new content.
All in all, the IKEA Catalog is a nice app if you're looking to buy furniture but it's a big buggy although it comes with many features that other similar apps don't really have.
