FLV Player 1.6
One of such applications is FLV Player. It comes with lots of interesting features but it seems to be a bit bare and it could use more tools.
Sleek and easy-to-use interface
It's always nice to come across applications that have a tutorial or some sort of presentation of their features, although that might mean that they take up some additional space on your device.
But FLV Player doesn't really need instructions, its interface is really easy-to-use with features at hand but it lacks material design. Another thing that's missing is a settings menu, meaning there are no changes that you can do to the app's overall features. Still, you'll find the interface to be quite fresh and clean, without any lags.
Watch all sort of videos
The app automatically scans your device to retrieve videos that you might have stored on it. It displays your videos in a list, you can enable grid view as well but that won't display any file details.
It shows you the file extension, the video size and resolution. It also displays the length of videos. You can use the app as a file manager also, it gives you the option to delete or rename videos as you wish.
Batch selection isn't available, which is quite inconvenient considering that the app also doesn't let you include your files in a playlist and stream them without interruption.
A few more tools
Simply tap on the video to open it, you can lock the screen so that it doesn't change the orientation while playing. You can adjust screen brightness and switch it to automatically if that helps.
There's the option to change aspect ratio and pick from the many provided options. The app lets you pick your favorite videos and places them into a separate section, to make them easier to find.
It even has the option to stream videos from a certain network, all that you need to do is input the MRL. FLV Player supports a wide range of video formats, so you can basically watch any video saved on your phone. But it could use some more features and it doesn't support subtitles.
