Visual Anatomy Free 5.0

A good learning tool for students studying anatomy
Textbooks and classes can be boring, especially if there's too much information and not enough visual representations of the new things you're learning. But you can use Visual Anatomy app to increase your knowledge of the human body in an easy way, using your phone.

Information on all organs and muscles in the human body

All information on the human body is divided into categories, organs, muscles, skeletons and many more. The app comes with 3D visual representation, but only for organs. You can zoom in or out on the image, tap on an organ and the app displays its name, or tap on an icon for more information.

The app displays head, foot, hand muscles, the skull, hand, foot bones and even the brain anatomy. Effects allow you to rotate the image, but that's about it. There are no other visual effects or animation to keep you motivated and help you learn easier and in a more pleasant way.

Learn anatomy and take a quiz

Each section comes with several subsections on that part of the body. Tap on any body part on the image and Visual Anatomy app displays a short description of it, alongside with details and further information.

When your study session is over, you can take a quiz of 22 questions with four possible answers. The quiz helps you assess the information you've learned and provides you with an overall score.

Search for information on specific organs

You can also use this app to search for information on a specific organ, it'll display an image of the organ and a link to a Wikipedia entry for more information. But more features are available if you upgrade to the paid version of this app.

All in all, Visual Anatomy is a good app for learning the basics of the human body, but that's about it.3D image is only available for a certain section and the quiz can't possibly check all the information you've learned. Aside from that, the app comes with ads and many links to upgrading or downloading other apps by the developer
