TubeMote 1.3

Play all sort of videos on your computer using the phone as a remote
There are many applications that let you link your phone to a computer, providing you with endless possibilities of using all sort of features on your PC. Some let you transfer files between the two devices, while others let you perform all sort of features remotely. TubeMote is one of such applications, it works as a remote for playing all sort of videos on your PC.

Easy-to-use interface with some features

The first thing that you need to do after launching the app is to register with an account, provide the app with an username, password and an email address. Once you've done that, open tubemote.com on your PC to stream videos there.

It doesn't use material design, so you won't find access to sections arranged in a side menu. Still, it has access to some settings in a toolbar on the top of the screen. You can filter which features you would like the app to display, so that it wouldn't overcrowd your screen with unnecessary information.

Stream all sort of videos on your PC

The app lets you stream all sort of clips on your PC, simply by accessing the website. The home menu provides you with a list of websites that you can access. You can stream videos from Facebook, Twitter, Vimeo, Dailymotion or Ustreams. The app also lets you access presentations in Scribd and Slideshare, as well as audio clips on SoundCloud.

For many of these websites, users would need to log in to their personal accounts so the app could stream videos of their friends. Obviously, the most features you'll find when streaming YouTube videos. The app lets you access your playlists and subscriptions and arranges clips based on their view count and rating.

More features

Simply tap on one video to play, you'll find a pause button on top, together with icons for skipping 10 seconds. Video and audio are streamed only on the computer, you can adjust the volume of videos but not that on your PC.

You can add videos to a playlist and even favorite the ones that you like the most. TubeMote merely offers a webpage for streaming videos remotely. The nice thing about this app is that you can use it to stream videos on your PC, in a very comfortable way, directly from your phone. The app opens the last played video, but it surely needs some more features especially a tutorial with some well-needed instructions and tips.
