Fluency seems to the best way to describe navigation inside this app. It doesn't need online registration and takes you through the steps of searching for rooms and booking them.
Trivago app resembles that of the website, coming with multiple language-based platforms for you to choose from. The app compares hotel prices on 257 booking sites at once. Use voice search or simply type in your destination to start looking for hotels.
You can also search in your current location. Select check in and check out dates and the type of room you're looking for. An icon on the top of the screen gives you access to a map with prices, so you can compare prices and view the location.
Find rooms easily
Filters can help you sort through all the search results that the app provides you with. You can sort by popularity, rating, price or distance. There are also other filters you can use like star and user rating of hotels. Adjust the maximum price range and distance, to narrow down your search.
Tap on the city center section, to be able to view only hotels that are located near certain landmarks in your destination. There's also the option of searching by address and amenities that hotels offer, like WiFi, spa and pool. The currency can also be changed, choose from a long list of currencies available inside the app.
Book rooms and get discounts
Considering that it provides price comparisons between various hotels, Trivago is a great money-saving app. It displays the prices of all rooms in a hotel, together with information on the hotel's location, amenities, facilities and a link to the website. If you find a hotel that you really like and wish to remember it, you can add it to your list of saved hotels.
You'll also get an overall rating of the hotel, together with ratings from the top hotel booking websites out there. There's also a map with the location and many pictures to scroll through. You can share information inside the app on various social platforms and Trivago app opens booking websites, not requiring access to your browser.
