SuperPhoto Free 1.83
Sleek and clean UI that packs many features
The app doesn't come with a tutorial or any kind of instructions to show new users how to navigate inside the app and access all its features. It seems to be a complex and clogged apps but it really isn't and the interface is well arranged.
A side menu provides users with access to all the neat features inside the app including to settings, where you can enable notifications for when new tools are added or pick a default thumbnail.
The app doesn't need users to register with an account online which is quite neat and it lets you clear cache. Still, it needs constant internet connection so make sure you are connected to a WiFi when using the app.
Edit pictures really easily
Many photography apps let users pick their image first and then apply the filter that they think it best suits the picture. But not SuperPhoto, users must first pick the filter and then the picture either from their gallery, camera or Facebook photos.
The app comes with more than 180 effects that you can pick from, including filters, 3D effects and brushes and more are added daily. You can also pick from decorations, like cutouts, frames and combos.
Textures are also available in the app, choose a background, bokeh styles or patterns. You can also have the app save output images in HD but for that you'll need ti upgrade to the premium version for 2.54$, which is also ad free.
Create collages and join a community of people passionate about photography
You can create collages using this app but you'll have to install another separate application for that. Other than that you can save and share edited pictures or add text messages.
In addition, you can set output images as wallpapers to your home screen or use them to create nice videos. Submit your pictures to the community and have people comment on your creations. You can also check out many images edited by other users in order to get inspired for your own.

Bottom Line
Design / UI8
The interface could really use an upgrade as well as some instructions to show new users how to navigate inside the app. |
Function8
It works just fine although the layout and concept is a bit different compared to other photography apps. |
Security8
No online registration is needed and the app requires few permissions from your phone so it shouldn't pose any privacy issues. |
Battery8
Consumption is quite low, you shouldn't worry about the app draining your resources. |
Price8
It comes with lots of popup ads, remove them and get access to more than 1500 filters by paying 2.54$ for an upgrade. |
Compatibility8
It should work on devices running Android version 2.2 or later, making it accessible to many users. |
It's a nice app but it's missing some basic editing tools.
