It has a 'hamburger' icon on the top right corner of the screen with shortcuts to settings and other sections inside the app.
Set up a secure connection
The app comes with a switch, simply slide it up to turn on the service, choose a location and wait for the connection to be set up. The app has many locations, most of them are from the US, Europe and some from South Korea and Singapore.
Connections are set up fast, depending on your internet speed and device specs. The app displays notifications in the status bar, showing you when a connection has failed and when it's automatically trying to establish a new one to the same location. The app works, but it has trouble maintaining connections and at times your phone may get disconnected from the network.
Tweak settings to meet your preferences
The app lets you enable notifications for when you secure to a network or the connection gets timed out. Users can also establish connection rules, you can have the app turn on avast! SecureLine when you connect to an unsecure WiFi network so that you would be protected as the app
encrypts your connection on unsecured public WiFi.In addition to that, you can use the app to browse the internet anonymously and privately. The app doesn't come with any ads, but the free version is only available in a 7 day trial and you can extend the period by buying a license for 2.62$ per month or 18.26$ per year.
