Realtor.com 5.9.1.13737
Intuitive UI with plenty of features at hand
The app comes with plenty of instructions for new users to get the hang of this app faster. It opens with a few features on the main screen, while all sections are neatly arranged on a menu in the left side of the screen.
Users must register with an account in order to save listings and information under their profile. They can collaborate with agents using this app and save their contact info directly in the app. Also, you can have the app only display high resolution photos when you're on WiFi, so that you would save precious mobile data.
Search for properties
Before using this app, make sure it has recorded your location or type in the city in which you wish to buy property. Instead of manually searching for property, the app lets you use map view and tap on prices to open listings. Maps can be zoomed in and there's also the option of drawing a certain perimeter in which you're searching for a property.
The scout feature displays information on average prices in a certain area. You have the option of saving searches or having the app display schools in the area. Almost all pictures are HD and featured in a large gallery. Other than that, the app presents an overview of the property together with information on its proximity to schools.
Rent or buy properties
After you've found the desired property, you may email it to your realtor directly within the app and schedule a meeting with the owner. In addition, the app may let you know of other listings as you drive by in the area.
It also comes with plenty of other features for both clients and realtors. One particularly useful feature is the one that displays price evolutions for properties that have been on the market for a while. Also, users may even calculate their mortgage payments before making up their mind about a listing.

Bottom Line
Design / UI9
The interface is highly functional, developers have compromised on style for functionality and that's actually ideal seeing how ease of use is more important than appearance for this type of apps. |
Function9
It performs well, but the app is mainly designed for users from the United States but the map view works great although it depends on your internet connection. |
Security8
It needs online registration and some permissions from your phone, but doesn't impose any major privacy risks. |
Battery4
Consumption is high considering that the app uses location services, so keep your phone plugged in if you intend to do an extensive search of properties. |
Price10
Completely free of charge, no ads or in-app purchases whatsoever. |
Compatibility8
It should work just fine on devices running Android 3.0 or later, making it accessible to some users. |
The best real estate app for users from the US, but it needs some improvements.
