Power Toggles
Sleek interface that may seem a bit confusing to some users
The app is truly lightweight with a sleek interface, but it could use a tutorial since the layout can be a bit confusing and dull in the gray background. It has a section with frequently asked questions, but that takes you out of the app.
Power Toggles comes with a list of general settings that you can do to the app, like have it collect data on battery consumption or adjust gestures for certain functions. In addition, each section has several settings that can be made, for example you can have the app display brightness levels when you click on the designated toggle or have it remove lock screen feature.
Customize the toggle that appears in the notification bar
Power Toggles lets you customize the bar that will appear in the status section. There are multiple themes to choose from, but they're similar in shape, only the color differs. The app lets you choose a style for toggles, set button colors, use one of your own images from the gallery for the background or select from two dividers.
There's the option of adding a second row to the bar. However, only 8 toggles can be set per row, but if you need to make more shortcuts simply use the home screen widget. It has the same shape, but only added to your main screen. The app lets you move the position of any button or choose from multiple toggles divided by category.
Lock screen bar and folders
You can also add shortcuts to apps or any other function in your phone and there's a battery icon that can be enabled on the status bar. The app comes with a notification bar on lock screen, however it seems that the feature doesn't work properly as it fails to open. Other than that, you can create folders with shortcuts for your home screen, but that also has trouble working since it opens the settings menu as well aside from toggles.

Bottom Line
Design / UI9
The layout is a tad confusing and missing a tutorial for new users. |
Function8
It has some bugs, certain toggles don't work on Lollipop as well as the notification bar on lock screen. |
Security8
It needs access to many areas of your phone, in order to provide shortcuts to functions. |
Battery6
It needs more work, as the app may take up a more battery that similar ones. Still, there are some settings that you can do and prevent it from draining your resources. |
Price10
Completely free of charge, no ads or in-app purchases whatsoever. |
Compatibility8
The developer didn't mention Android versions compatible with this device, but we can tell you that the latest version was optimized for Android Lollipop. |
It needs a bit more work, but it's still useful especially for 5.0 users.
