It's a nice free, fully-customizable remote control for your PC. It takes only a few minutes to install and setup on both your devices, but offers a number of features that you can use in order to pair your two devices and access almost any file stored on them.
Beautiful interface with plenty to offer
The app doesn't really start with a tutorial, but it does have a whole section with instructions and tips for new users. However, the text is ill-fitted and cannot be zoomed out, so you'd be left swiping the screen left in order to read the whole sentence.
Still, it sports a really nice interface with a beautiful design and lots of features that you can use. There's also a section with information on the app, but the text is also ill-fitted making it hard to read. In addition, it has a section with the latest grids that you can use.
Use the app to the fullest
In order to use the application, you'll need to install the version for your PC. Head over to www.power-grid.roccat.org, download and install the software. It only takes a couple of minutes to complete the setup, you'll need to create an account using your email address and to provide your full name in order to use the app.
The next step is to pair your two devices together, by scanning the network and providing your phone with the PC's IP address. In fact, your two devices must be connected to the WiFi for the app to work.
More features
Once they're paired you can view CPU info on your phone, check the frequency and usage of all cores. You can also get information on RAM and net usage, as well as how much memory is free on your PC.
It comes with a stopwatch and timer for your computer. You can also open files on your PC using the app, simply tap on directories to so. However, you can't copy them from one folder to another, or transfer them to your phone.
You can also get notifications from various social networks and your RSS feeds directly on your phone. The app lets you adjust the volume on your PC, including for media players and system sounds.
