PicsPlay 3.6.1
Sleek UI with plenty of features at hand
Some photography apps come with a tutorial or at least instructions to get users going and it seems that developers of PicsPlay have understood the importance of showing new users how to navigate in the app. They provide a manual with tips and explanations of what each feature does.
The app opens with a few options. You can either take or load pictures to start editing them. Users may also save locations on pictures or access a video tutorial under the settings section. The app comes with banner ads on the bottom of the screen, which can be removed if you upgrade to the premium version for 3.8$.
Start editing pictures
Access your gallery to start editing pictures and applying various filters and effects. The app tells you choose the picture size, but some of them are available only in the premium version. Once you've done that, start making changes to the photo by choosing features from the toolbar at the bottom of the screen.
Firstly, you can rotate pictures or crop sections of them. A reset button is features on the top right corner, next to the before and after icons. There's also the option of changing the focus area of an app or zooming in on a certain section.
Apply filters and effects
200 filters are divided into several categories and sections. Browse through them to find one that fits your picture, favorite it for later. It also has a history section, where you can easily find effects that you've used on previous pictures. You can change the filter's opacity and if you don't like it simply swipe the screen for the next one.
Tap on compare to view the before image. Adjust exposure, color, white balance and sharpen nuances in your picture. Users may also add text, paint over pictures or even add stickers. A large gallery of borders helps you find what you want. When you're done share pictures with friends on social networks.
