Pic Frames 1.8
Pic Frames is one of such apps, but it could use some more features to make it stand out from the crowd of various photography applications available on the market.
Sleek interface with some features
We've gotten used to photography apps that not only come with many features, but also sport sleek interfaces, some with animation. But it seems that developers of Pic Frames only created a home section to add recommendations of other apps and shortcuts to Google Play Store for various other applications.
Still, the UI inside the app is nice, it comes in a dark shade which provides the best contrast for editing pictures. It doesn't come with instructions, but the app can offer guidance to sections and tools to make your pictures stand out.
Add frames and shapes to your pictures
The first thing you need to do after you launch the app is to pick a frame and a shape. It comes with many options to choose from, really nice templates for collages and shapes that you highlight the essential in a photo.
Pick a frame or shape and then add a picture. The editor section lets you pick from 50 effects to add to your pictures and has a bar that lets you adjust the intensity of effects.
After testing so many photography apps, we may conclude that these aren't the best effects and many other apps have better filters for pictures. Still, you can add vintage filters or overlays on pictures, which are quite nice and even artistic but you can't zoom in on images.
Save and share with friends
These aren't the only tools that the app offers. You can also change the color of the background, zoom on pictures and arrange them to fit the shape. Users can apply patterns and borders on frames, but not on shapes.
The app lets you save pictures into a destination folder that it creates on your phone. In addition, you can share them instantly as it offers shortcuts to Instagram and Facebook. But the app doesn't keep the original quality of the image and saves images in .jpg format.

Price8
It comes with many popup ads that will surely annoy you while you edit pictures and there's no option of removing them. |

It's a nice app but it could use some more features.
