Clean and fresh interface
The app doesn't come with a tutorial or any kind of instructions for new users to get accustomed to the interface and access all of its features. Still, it launches with a whole list of calculators that you can access, including a percent and tip calculator.
In addition to that, you can check out a history of your recent calculations, delete entries or share in an email. However, you can't export calculations to other applications or in a document. The app comes with ads and there's no apparent option of removing them, although they might get annoying and distract you from using the app.
Make all sort of calculations
Percent Calculator doesn't have a settings menu, which means that you can't make any changes to its UI or set any kind of notifications. Still, it displays a list of available calculators that you can choose from. Users may calculate percentages, percent increases, percent discounts or tips, as well as percent margins and percentage change.
Each of these sections come with instructions so that you won't have trouble with using the app. Percent Calculator remembers the last calculations that you've made inside sections, so that you can revise them easily.
Other features
The tip calculator tells you the total amount to pay and total per person, in accordance to the number of people at the table. It literary takes seconds to calculate, making it perfect for when you're at the table and you need to calculate the tip fast. You can also use the app when you're at the store and need to calculate discounts or compare prices easily.
You can also calculate retail mark-up or selling prices with the percent margin or price hikes. All in all, the app is quite nice but it doesn't come with too many options and it doesn't have a settings menu that would let you make some changes to the interface. Still, it works just fine and it doesn't have any stability issues.
