Every woman should keep track of her cycles and body changes regardless if she wants to get pregnant or not. The internet is filled with apps that help women monitor their cycles, temperature and weight, in order to determine their fertile periods and the best day for conceiving a baby. OvuView is a good choice, as it uses sympto-thermal methods to determine fertile days.

Cute app filled with instructions and explanations

OvuView is definitely a useful app and it also provides plenty of instructions to make it easier for users to understand how the app works and what methods it uses to determine your fertility days. The app comes with multiple themes that you can choose from, together with vivid colors and animations.

There are tips at the top of the screen, together with a description of the phase you're in and the menu icon. The app comes with banner ads which can be disabled only of you upgrade to the premium version.

Cute animation with cycle phases

The first thing you need to do after you launch the app is choose your goal. OvuView unlocks different features based on what your purpose is, whether you want a simple menstrual calendar, intend to get pregnant or avoid conception. The app comes with a demo and live mode.

The demo mode is useful for understanding how the app works, before you actually input your information and properly use the tools. Your cycle is featured neatly using animation. There's information on the number of days before your next menstruation, the phase in which you're in and days until your fertile period.

Calendar with symptoms and charts

Regardless of your goal, you should input information on menses, temperature, weight and mood for each day of the week. Reminders can be set so you wouldn't forget and charts provide you with an overview of your weight, temperature and cycles.

Charts can also be viewed in landscape mode. OvuView presents all the popular methods for avoiding pregnancy using the calendar rule. However, you shouldn't rely too much on them as they're not 100% secure and dependable.
