Sleek and fluent interface
The UI is really stylish, with HD images and lots of features. In order to use the app you must sign up with a Google+ or Facebook profile or use an email address to create a new account. After this you can start planning your trip.
There are no instructions but you'll get the hang of it fast, as the app is really intuitive. Simply tap on one of the three icons on the home screen to get started and be patient while the app loads all necessary information.
Search for hotel rooms near you
Tap on the hotel icon to have the app find available hotel rooms near your current location or in a city of your choice. You can also choose dates and the number of people. Orbitz can also provide you with vacation packages, but for this it will take you outside the app to their official website opened in a browser.
You can filter rooms by amenities, area, star or review score. There's also the option of sorting them by the highest and lowest price and hotel name. Every listing comes with details on amenities and user reviews that you can check before you decide to book it, but there's no map of the location or a list of nearby attractions.
Book flights and cars
The app also provides users with the option of booking flights easily but doesn't feature flights by low cost companies that usually use charter planes. You can also book cars at airports where you may land simply by using this app and get special deals for using the app.
After extensive use of the app you can join the rewards club and receive 5% off on hotels and 2% on flights. In addition, the app informs you of flight delays, gate changes, and cancellations.
